Cutting Stainless Steel Chain:
Stainless steel is an extremely strong material and should not be cut using standard jewellery cutters, as this can damage the blades. We recommend using hard wire cutters, such as the Xuron Hard Wire Cutters, which are designed to handle tougher metals safely and effectively.

We always recommend using a sterling silver or 14k gold filled jump ring with stainless steel chains.
This creates a safer break point within the jewellery, as stainless steel is an extremely strong material and may not break safely if pulled or caught.
